Youth Care Worker for Safe Haven Program

The Youth Care Worker plays a vital role in our Safe Haven Emergency Foster Care Program, providing day-to-day support, supervision, and care for children entering foster placement on an emergency basis.
Relief Parent
Part Time
The Relief Parent assists the One Family Illinois Foster Parent in providing care and services to the children including transportation of children to recreational activities, homework assistance and therapy, and additional supervision of the children while a Foster Parent is using relief time/time off.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervision, oversight, and direction of the Clinical Therapy team at all One Family Illinois Villages and our Community-Based program services.
Safe Haven Program Supervisor

The Program Supervisor is the primary point of contact for all intake calls from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), ensuring children are safely and efficiently placed into care, with a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to service delivery.
Clinical Therapist

The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing professional clinical services including assessments, interventions, consultations, crisis intervention and psycho-social-educational therapeutic services to children, youth, families and caregivers served by One Family Illinois.
Child Advocacy Specialist

The Child Advocate Specialist will serve as a dedicated support for children and youth placed in the Safe Haven Emergency Foster Care Program at One Family Illinois (OFI).
Child Welfare Specialist
Full Time
The Child Welfare Specialist provides services to One Family Illinois (“OFI”) children and their families in order to achieve the particular case goal as outlined and explained in the client service plan.
Family Support Specialist
Full Time
The Family Support Specialist provides in-home intervention to children and their families, utilizing a cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused model to help families adopt positive solutions to problems through the teaching of skills and behavioral techniques accessing community resources and support.
Village Program Assistant

The Village Program Assistant (VPA) provides support to Operations, providing administrative support at each Village, as well as to the programming at the Village itself, to ensure smooth running of the programmatic and administrative functions at each Village.

General Maintenance Worker

The General Maintenance Worker will assist One Family Illinois (OFI) Director of Facilities with the maintenance and equipment needs of OFI buildings and grounds in a manner consistent with quality and long-term preservation of the facilities/grounds.
Volunteer
Tutor – Volunteer
One Family Illinois is looking for dedicated individuals to act as one on one or small group tutors for youth ranging from 1st grade through high school.
Volunteer
Volunteers can join in a variety of areas such as community programming, gardening, workforce development or events at one or all of the One Family Illinois sites.

Employment Benefits
PPO or HMO plans for healthcare are offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield, which you may qualify for after 90 days of full-time employment.
Vision Care and Dental Care are offered through Guardian.
Paid Time Off, including Vacation Time, Sick Time, and Personal Time. Vacation Time is accrued depending on the length of service — the longer you are with One Family Illinois, the more vacation time you earn!
One Family Illinois also offers Life Insurance covered by employer (with optional add-on’s for employees). A&D, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability, and more.
Ability to contribute to a 403B Retirement Savings Plan (similar to a 401K but for nonprofits), which you can contribute to yourselves out of your paychecks immediately if you choose to do so and after 12 months, the company will contribute 4% on your behalf.
The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer. More information can be found here. One Family Illinois qualifies as a registered 501(c)3.
Partial tuition remission is available for employees after 18 months of service, with relevant coursework prioritized to better equip our community to serve others through their departments.
