Entertainers in magnificent costumes welcomed guests to Venue One in Chicago’s West Loop.
This year’s Evening of Hope was the 5th annual fall fundraising event benefitting One Family Illinois. The Cirque Soiree-themed event took place at Venue One on October 15 and raised over $260,000.
Guests enjoyed delights from Garrett Popcorn; Eli’s Cheesecake; Hershey’s Chicago; and sampled spirits from Edrington-Macallan; Solemn Oath Brewery; Southern Wine & Spirits; Lagunitas Brewing Company; and Argus Brewery. Awards for academic success were presented to children from our Villages to the delight of proud Foster Parents. Cirque Soiree’s event chairs John Trotta, Tracy Morse, and Kathleen Nelson planned this unique evening.
Special guest Illinois Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti inspired the crowd and applauded the work of One Family Illinois.
