At the Chicago Village our community garden is in full bloom with an array of fruits and veggies like kale, mint, squash, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, and green beans. There is a butterfly garden in the area as well, and on July 10 more than 6,000 lady bugs were released to nurture the growth of our beautiful garden. We are looking forward to our harvest this fall when we will have our annual Taste of the Village event. Every home prepares and shares a dish with fresh ingredients from the garden!
