Thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Chicago Blackhawks Community Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund, we can further our College Bound and Beyond program.
One Family Illinois is a proud recipient of a $100,000 grant from the Chicago Blackhawks Community Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund, to further our College Bound and Beyond Program.
As a grantee, we were recently given an opportunity to attend a Blackhawks “Spotlight” game on February 9, 2016. In the company of similar organizations, we staffed a table on the United Center concourse to help raise awareness about the work we do at One Family Illinois.
We were so grateful to attend. Thank you, Chicago Blackhawks Community Fund, for your hospitality, friendship, and support!
The College Bound and Beyond Program – At a Glance
The College Bound and Beyond Program involves a care team of Foster Parents, educators, and community members, ensuring each child successfully matriculates to the next grade level. The goal is to provide comprehensive support through every level of learning, including post-college support, to ensure every child’s potential is maximized.
We are immensely grateful to the Chicago Blackhawks Community Fund for partnering with One Family Illinois to ensure continued growth for the program. With your support, we will further our ability to nurture the educational development of the youth in our care.
