Our dedicated staff sorts through the generous contribution of coats and winter apparel from Make It Better Foundation.
We all know Chicago winters are cold. Make It Better Foundation certainly understands that and seeks to make the season a bit more bearable by providing the gift of warmth through their Warming Hearts & Warming Hands program. This program seeks donations of new coats and other winter apparel and distributes 100% of all contributions to nonprofits before the holiday season.
One Family Illinois was honored to be a recipient of 273 winter-ready items such as jackets, gloves, hats, and blankets for every child in our Villages. Thanks to this generous donation, our children will be warm and ready for the elements.
Hard at work organizing the gifts for each household.
