After two months of operation, the new Village at Roosevelt Square has been able to welcome twenty-one children, who are now benefiting from living with their siblings, being cared for by a full-time, professionally-trained Foster Parent, and having a safe and stable environment to call home—while being surrounded with the support of Village.
One Family Illinois Foster Parents and staff at the Roosevelt Square Village already see the difference being made in the lives of the children who call it home.
More activities are on the way, but we would like to share one from this past December when Marketwired Chicago staff came to the Roosevelt Square Village to spread some holiday cheer. The team of 28 members hung home-made wreaths on the doors, as well as sorted home goods, created welcome baskets for new families, and decorated a tree that stood in the courtyard of the Roosevelt Square Village Administrative Office throughout the season.
