The Act of Giving is An Art

2018-Art-of-Giving-Event

Maestro Cares Foundation, a longtime partner of One Family Illinois, has been instrumental in helping build the community center at our Roosevelt Square Village. On Thursday, August 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maestro Cares is hosting The Art of Giving at Moonlight studios on 1446 W. Kinzie St., Chicago, IL 60642. Tickets are $150 and available for purchase here.

We invite you to join for an evening of art, culture, music and hors d’ oeuvres. You’ll have the opportunity to bid on unique artwork from several Latin American artists, such as Julio Valdez and Pablo Palasso. The Art Auction benefits Maestro Cares Foundation & the construction of One Family Illinois community center.

One Family Illinois and Maestro Cares Foundation Partnership

Marc Anthony, Henry Cardenas, and Maestro Cares Foundation provided a truly transformational gift to One Family Illinois, marking this event as the top highlight of 2016. Their contribution of $500,000 will go toward building and realizing a vision for a community center at our Roosevelt Square Village.

We are truly honored to have the support and partnership of Maestro Cares, an organization that, like One Family Illinois, believes in doing its utmost to provide children in need the care and resources they need and deserve here in Chicago, as well as to Villages in Latin America. One Family Illinois looks forward to making this communal, safe space a source of stability and hope for the community in the new year and in the coming years.
