Village Parties Enchant and Delight

AMLI Residential, Swissôtel Chicago, Related Midwest, and The Bohne Foundation sponsored this year’s One Family Illinois Village holiday parties. The parties brought together each Village community for special activities, food, entertainment, and visits from Santa Claus. These Corporate Partners also donated toys, games, outerwear, and other special gifts. Thank you to our Holiday Magic Makers for all you have done to make this holiday season bright for children and families in our care!
Casa Tepeyac Celebrates Posada Navideña
Members of the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago joined One Family Illinois at Casa Tepeyac for the annual Posada Navideña on December 17, 2015. In keeping with Mexican tradition, the evening included music, dancing, drinks, treats, and visiting community members. Special thanks to Veronica Smith, Family Strengthening Programs Manager, and all of the staff at Casa Tepeyac for organizing this incredible experience of hospitality, joy and pride. Thank you, also, to the Emerging Leaders Board for contributing your time and talent.
Jewel-Osco Donates Holiday Meals
One Family Illinois is grateful to Jewel-Osco for donating holiday meals for every family at our One Family Illinois Villages. These delicious meals provided a special dinner for our full-time, professionally=trained Foster Parents and the children in their care to enjoy as a family.
Delta Sigma Pi Decks the Halls of Lockport
Many thanks to the Lewis University students of Delta Sigma Pi who helped decorate the Lockport Village in December. Your decorations, enthusiasm, and energy brought holiday cheer to the One Family Illinois Family.
2015 Holiday Giving Program is a Great Success
